The pneumatic Touchdown system from Sheaffer was the precursor to the Snorkel system where the the extension of the Touchdown and depression operates the system to compress the sac and fill it with ink.

Condition: The pen is in good overall condition with a very clear ink view window. The barrel has some deformation and discolouration at the blindcap due to heat at some point in its life (see pictures). Filling system has had a complete restoration with a new sac and seals.
