Primarily for the use of re-installing the diaphragm/pump unit of a Parker Vacumatic. During installation friction between the diaphragm and barrel wall can result in the twisting of the diaphragm and therefore incorrect installation.
This lubricant, when placed on the leading edges of the diaphragm allows smooth and proper installation of the pump unit.
